Every dog is different, so training timelines vary based on your dog’s age, temperament, and consistency at home. While some dogs pick up basics within a few sessions, others may need ongoing support, especially for behavior modification. We’ll create a training plan tailored to your dog’s pace and goals.

Sessions are spaced 2-3 weeks apart. This allows sufficient time for you to practice the methods I’m teaching both you and your dog. As a result, we can steadily advance our progress moving forward.

To ensure each dog gets the attention and guidance they need, I prefer to train one dog at a time. This allows me to focus on their individual behaviors, learning style, and progress. Once your first dog has a solid foundation, we can begin working with your second dog for the best results.

The initial session last approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours, while subsequent sessions are each one hour long.

The number of sessions depends on your dog’s age, behavior, and your training goals. Some dogs make noticeable progress after just a few sessions, while others—especially those working through reactivity, fear, or advanced skills, may benefit from a longer training plan. During our initial consultation, we’ll assess your dog’s needs and recommend a personalized timeline to help you see real, lasting results.

.Yes, and we encourage it! Consistency is key in dog training, so having all household members involved helps reinforce the behaviors your dog is learning. Whether it’s adults or older kids, we welcome family participation and will guide everyone on how to work with your dog in a way that’s clear, calm, and effective.

between 6-8 weeks old as they begin to grasp basic skills from potty to crate training, responding to their name, and learning basic obedience. Board and train programs are advised to commence no earlier than 5-6 months.

Please bring your dog on a standard leash (no retractable leashes), along with a well-fitted muzzle if your dog has a history of reactivity or aggression. If it’s your first time using a muzzle, let me know—I can help with proper fit and conditioning. You should also bring high-value treats your dog loves, any training tools you currently use (like a harness or prong collar), and your questions or goals for the session.
